This was an on-going extensive trail project. The project work included  an inventory and evaluation of the existing trail system. The system was improved over time as development in the area was constructed. New connections, updates to materials, signage and tree and vegetation management formed the planning and work undertaken. Planning considerations included surrounding land use, pedestrian connections, signage, safety, existing topography, drainage, and desired uses. Challenges included integrating different user groups and needs, site safety and on-going changes to the landscape including fallen trees and wildlife.
